College football season is an exciting time for sports fans. Each weekend from late summer into early December, teams from across the country lock horns hoping to qualify for the season-ending playoff, which begins on January 1 and culminates with the national championship game on January 8. Between now and then, college football fans can feast on these highly anticipated matchups on the docket for the 2023 season.
Pocahontas travels to Brookland this Friday night for their final non-conference tilt of the season. The Redskins own an 8-1 record in this series, dating back to the 2012 season, with Brookland’s lone victory coming in 2019. Pocahontas won last year’s contest 47-28.

Two individuals are now in police custody following a multi-county pursuit that concluded in a cornfield. According to officials, the suspects fled from Randolph County authorities on Tuesday afternoon.
