The Randolph County Quorum Court convened for its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, Aug. 17, at 7:00 p.m., with Judge Ben Wicker leading the session by calling it to order and leading the attendees in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting commenced with the reading of the agenda.
On Monday, Sept. 11, local residents from the Pocahontas Police, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, Randolph County Animal Control, the military and various other professions came together to proudly wave the red, white and blue in remembrance. The community united for a meaningful walk from the WalMart parking lot to the courthouse, where they were met with supportive honks and smiles from passing motorists.
