Spring days are certainly welcome after a cold winter. Sometimes things are a little windy and chilly, but that’s what makes everything come to life. People are enjoying getting out, taking walks, walking their dogs and enjoying the parks. Children are playing outside for a change. Summer will soon be here, and all the farmer markets will be in full swing with their garden fare for sale. I can hardly wait. I can just taste those homegrown tomatoes, fresh corn and all the different kinds of fruits and vegetables. Let’s all take advantage of the opportunity to freeze or can all the fresh foods for the coming winter ahead. Hope you enjoy the following recipes this week. Always fun to find different ones to share with you. This Crock Pot Chicken recipe sounds good and easy.

Spring is so beautiful; Dogwoods and Redbuds are so beautiful this time of the year. Everywhere you look things are getting green. Birds are so busy looking for their nesting places so they can start building their nest and preparing for their baby birds and of course the hummingbirds are just beginning to show up. I love it! It’s Porch setting time, my favorite thing to do. I love sitting in my Rocking Chair and watching the world wake up and all the activities happening in the neighborhood. Lawn mowers are mighty busy right now. Everyone is getting their gardens ready to plant. such a happy time for our world. I was thinking it is getting time for everyone to start planning campouts, cookouts and Family gatherings. So, I thought I would share some recipes for a cookout. Don’t that sound good after being inside all winter. Getting time for summer fun!!!!
