Randolph County Judge Ben Wicker is working hard to make some important updates to the county’s emergency services and road department. In his first three months on the job, Wicker has already identified several key areas for improvement.
Downtown Pocahontas is abuzz with excitement as plans for several upcoming events, including the return of the beloved Novemberfest, are underway. The Randolph County Chamber of Commerce is working closely with the newly re-established Downtown Network of Pocahontas to revitalize the historic downtown district and bring back the sense of community that once thrived there.

Spring is getting closer and I can hardly wait. Flowers will start blooming, gardens will be started and porch sitting will be just around the corner.
