Rand Co to hold distribution event on March 1, 2023
Randolph County will host a Commodity Distribution event on Wednesday, March, 1 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. or while supplies last. The event will take place at the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Ravenden Springs and the Pocahontas Community Center in Pocahontas. Participants may choose one location to pick up their food.

Robert Lindsey
Robert “Bobby” Doyle Lindsey, 52, of Pocahontas passed away February 11, 2023 at Five Rivers Medical Center. Robert was born on August 1, 1970 in Pocahontas to the late Robert Joseph Lindsey and Mary Jane Matthews.
Eddie Sharp
Eddie Sharp was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas on November 19, 1951, and he passed away from his earthly body on February 15, 2023, at Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Joseph Barber
Joseph Andrew Barber, 55, of Supply, Arkansas passed away from this life on Monday, February 13, 2023, in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Joseph was born June 15, 1967, to Author Lee Barber and Emma Jane (Gibson) Barber in North Kansas City, Missouri.
Vincent Burtman
Vincent Wayne Burtman 72, of Pocahontas passed away February 18, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. Vincent was born in Pocahontas to the late Charles Roscoe Burtman and Orpha Marie Whitrock Burtman on January 12, 1951.
Doris Poore
Doris Marie Poore, 93, of Maynard passed away February 20, 2023 at St. Bernards Medical Center surrounded by love.
Carilyn Smith
Carilyn Haynes Smith, age 86, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023. Carilyn was born on September 24, 1936 in Pocahontas, AR to the late Carl and Opal (Brown) Haynes. She is also preceded in death by her twin sister, Marilyn Mann.
