Tough look for Eric Musselman and the basketball Hogs this weekend. We knew going into the season that there were bound to be growing pains with a team composed largely of transfers and freshmen, even highly touted and sought after as they were. Losing on the road at Auburn wasn’t a big surprise, and there’s certainly not a lot of shame in losing to a talented Alabama squad, even at home. But watching a mediocre Vandy squad rain threes and win going away after being on the losing end of Anthony Black’s antics wasn’t a lot of fun.

Harrison Carter and Bryce Mason shared the scoring lead with 14 points each. DJ Coffey added 12 points, Colby Mahon had 8 points, and Connor Baker contributed 5 points.

The holidays are officially behind us. We had family members who were not able to get together until this weekend, so we had the final chapter with a January Christmas. Such fun. I had a small ceramic Christmas tree set up and told them if they would come in December, they would then get the full Christmas experience but since they waited until January, this is it.
