There are plenty of beloved TV comedies have great Thanksgiving episodes. But the most quintessential, hysterical Thanksgiving episode of a sitcom remains “Turkeys Away,” the WKRP in Cincinnati masterpiece of bird-dropping pandemonium that first aired in 1978. It remains a touchstone. That’s partly because the jokes still hold up and partly because it ends with a perfectly quotable mic drop of a last line, spoken by radio station manager Arthur Carlson: “As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.”

St. Paul Catholic School Christmas Bazaar. At the Parish Life Center on Dec. 4, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a BBQ meal complete with sides and dessert. Activities for all ages! PAC Dolphins hosts Arkansas First Chance Swim Meet

The PAC Dolphins hosted the Arkansas First Chance Swim Meet. 115 swimmers from Arkansas competed. This is the first of three JO Qualifier swim meets that will be hosted in Arkansas before the Junior Olympics are held in Des Moines, Iowa next July. Teams from Bryant, Mountain Home, Paragould, Benton, Jonesboro, Lonoke, Harrison, Pocahontas and other towns competed. To swim at Junior Olympics an athlete must finish in the top 3 at a qualifier event or meet national time standards. The following PAC Dolphins swimmers competed at the meet.
