Well, another county fair parade has come and gone. On Tuesday evening, Presley and I, along with the other newspaper staff members, enjoyed watching the Randolph County Fair Parade from the yard of Steve and Rene Fernimen on Thomasville.

Pocahontas welcomes the Nettleton Raiders to Schoonover Field this Friday for their home-opener of the 2022 season. The Redskins have struggled with Nettleton since this series was restarted in 2016, going 1-5, with the lone win coming in 2020.

Lady Redskins Volleyball

The Lady Redskins Volleyball Team hit the road last week taking on the Newport Greyhounds on Monday, and then the Southside Southerners on Tuesday. The Lady Redskins defeated the Greyhounds in 3 sets but fell short on Tuesday playing the Southerners.
