Jerry DeWayne Richardson, 71, of Pocahontas passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born June 24, 1951 in Success to the late James and Exie Loveless Richardson.
Dena Marie Huffman, 43, of Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away on September 23, 2022. Dena was born on April 30, 1979, in Doniphan, Missouri to Jeffrey and Lena Huffman.
Tommy ‘Darrell’ Davis, 76, of Walnut Ridge, passed away on September 25, 2022. He was born on Aug 22, 1946, to George ‘Bill’ & Lucille (Holder) Davis.
Paul Edward Depietro, 70, of Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away on September 25, 2022, at St. Bernard’s Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Paul was born on July 15, 1957, in Verdun, France to Americo and Irene Depietro.

Hazel Lucille Martin, 94 of Pocahontas passed away September 23, 2022 at St. Bernard Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. Hazel was born December 2, 1927 in Shell Knob, MO. to the late James “Jim” Jennings and Mary Francis Manning Jennings. She was one of the first switchboard operators in Randolph County. She also worked at Pocahontas Federal Savings and Loan.

The Pocahontas Junior Redskins travelled to Cortez Kennedy Field for a conference game against the Rivercrest Colts on September 22. Pocahontas scored on a Spencer James run and a Colton Brown 2-point conversion to lead 8-0 at end of the first quarter.
