Brookland sits at 1-1 on the year, with a 6-0 win over Westside in Week 1 coupled with a 28-17 loss to Gosnell in Week 2.

Adventures on the Tank Full

This week’s adventure written by Dr Pat Carroll Some of us like to get out of town for an occasional day trip, but nothing too tiring. On a recent Saturday, five of us, David and Linda Bowlin, David’s sister Paula, John Allen French and Pat Carroll left Pocahontas at 2 p.m., headed through Dalton and Myrtle and on to Eminence, Missouri and a visit to Alley Spring and Mill, which is part of the National Park Service system. It’s a 2-hour drive from Pocahontas to Eminence.
