On a recent Saturday, five of us, David and Linda Bowlin, David’s sister Paula, John Allen French and Pat Carroll left Pocahontas at 2 p.m., headed through Dalton and Myrtle and on to Eminence, Missouri and a visit to Alley Spring and Mill, which is part of the National Park Service system. It’s a 2-hour drive from Pocahontas to Eminence.
