Green, green, green Every farmer at the farmers market this past week had greenery—radish greens, kale, mustard greens, broccoli, lambsquarters greens, and everyone had green onions! What to do with all those green onions? Here are some of our favorite ways to use them: 1. Top a baked potato with butter, sour cream or full-fat Greek yogurt, a dash of fresh black pepper, and a generous sprinkle of chopped green onions.
The Randolph County Heritage Museum is pleased to announce the naming of the Ed and Lana Bethune Gallery. This gallery will house the museum’s Native American collection, the John and Mary Jackson Early Randolph County Exhibit, the Crosby Button Factory, the Shemwell/ Rham General Store, and the Joe Peters exhibits once the museum expansion has been completed.
The Annual Ingram/Fowler Reunion will be held on Saturday, June 4 th at noon at the Maynard Elementary School Cafeteria. .
The Warm Springs Cemetery will hold its annual cleaning on Saturday, June 4, starting at 8:30 a.m. In case of rain, the cleaning will be the following Saturday, June 11. Please bring your own tools. Thunderstorms are not my favorite weather, but I remind myself how the rain means we don’t have to water the plants. I love to watch the wildlife in my backyard such as all the different birds.

Mother nature was sure letting us know she was around and still the boss yesterday afternoon with her fierce winds and heavy rain. I hope no one received too much damage. A lot of rain fell and I know as summer gets here and the hot dry days hit us we will be wishing for a good rain like that. That’s human nature rearing its head.
David Charles Jansen, 66, of Reyno, Arkansas passed away at St. Bernard’s Medical Center, in Jonesboro, on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. David was born on Tuesday, November22, 1955, in Pocahontas, to Frank and Clarice Pettigrew Jansen.
