The Pocahontas Star Herald and The James Ranch are sponsoring a Randolph County Judge Candidate Debate on Thursday, April 28 at the James Ranch. Candidates will be available for Meet and Greet from 5 to 6 pm with the debate beginning at 6 pm.

More than 100 children along with family members of the local Marshallese community gathered for an exciting Easter Egg Hunt at the Eddie Mae Herron Center on Good Friday. The event featured three rounds of egg hunts, with three groups of kids, ranging in age from 1 year to teens, with prize eggs appropriate for each round of the hunt.
